All our vessels have liability insurance and own damages (sinking, collision, loss, theft, fire, etc.) with a franchise equal to the security deposit requested to the client at the time of the formalization of the rental contract. If the boat suffers damages or faults in its equipment, its amount will be deducted from the deposit.

Negligence, improper use of the boat, ill-treatment and breach of the law, will be sufficient grounds for the instant termination of the contract, leaving the amounts paid in favor of Helix Rent a Boat as compensation. All the expenses caused by these causes, for lack of knowledge in the handling of the boat, forgetfulness, clumsiness or neglect, will be in charge of the client.

Transportation or collection expenses outside the port of Formentera, skipper, fuel and taxes will be billed separately and are not included in the rental rate.

A rental day is between 10.00 h. and 7:00 p.m. of the same day The unjustified delay in the delivery of the vessel will result in the extra charge of a stipulated amount in relation to the delay time.

The reservation of a boat will only be effective if the customer has paid 100% of the total rental amount. Before the shipment, the security deposit will be paid in cash or by credit card.

To benefit from a discount, reservations must be made through our website, not being applicable in direct sales in our offices. The discount will be 10% for bookings of one day and 15% for bookings of three or more days.

The delivery of the boats will take place until 2:00 p.m., closing time of our office in its morning schedule, and must present the bonus received at the time of confirming your reservation. The NO presentation of the client before that time, will result in the cancellation of the reservation without the right to claim on your part.

If Helix Rent a Boat could not deliver the reserved vessel, it may be exchanged for another, charging or paying the price differences, provided the customer agrees. In case of not being able to deliver any vessel, it will return the quantities delivered without a claim by the client.

If, due to bad weather and for security, Helix Rent a Boat determines to suspend the departure of the vessels, the amount of the reservations will be fully refunded, without any claim from the client.

The client may cancel his reservation up to 14 days before sending an email to [email protected] informing of this fact and indicating his full name, reservation code and date of the same. In this case, Helix Rent a Boat will process the 100% refund of the amount of the reservation to the customer. After this date, this right will be lost, leaving the amounts paid in favor of Helix Rent a Boat as compensation and without a claim from the client.

The client declares that he has the necessary qualification to crew the vessel of this contract.

The customer declares to receive the boat in good working order, with all the necessary accessories for navigation and its compliance.

The signing of the contract or, where appropriate, the confirmation of the reservation, implies the agreement of the parties in all its conditions.
